In general, the instruments are designed for remote measurement of slowly changing physical quantities. The input signal must be a DC voltage or current or a change in resistance.
The instruments in the signalling version provide the user with the possibility to connect external circuits to the power switching contacts of two relays. Instruments in the serial communication version can be connected to a PC via RS 232C or RS 485 interface.
